I love my new headboard!! I left room on either side to add two more boards. I did this because I am in the process of making a platform queen size bed frame (we have a twin size bed right now). I wanted to add a touch of romance so I added the soft white icicles to the top of the head board, then used staples to pin them to the wood. I even used the extension cords that have an off on button, so they easily turn off when we are ready to sleep.

We just attempted a full yesterday! Haven't tweaked it yet or made the head board. We found it nearly impossible to find the pallets the same size, did u do any cutting??

Actually, I have held off on the cutting, it is actually off about an inch on each side. I decided I could live with the sie difference for now, I'm up grading to a queen soon. I am hoping that going up a mattress size, I could simply move the boards over and put one more board up and it should be a good fit.
