DIY snow. How to make fake snow at home. 3 easy recipes. Make snow in few minutes.
3 easy recipes:
Recipe no 1:

Ingredients:

– white hair conditioner (half a cup)

– baking soda (1 cup)

– glitter (optional)

Directions:

Mix 1 cup of baking soda and half a cup of conditioner in a bowl. If you want to make it sparkle, just add glitter. Mix it well (till texture starts to remind you of play dough; it will feel like play dough too!). Leave it to dry for a moment. Few minutes to few hours, depending on how moist and how big your batch is. I would say: 5 minutes for one cup of fake snow, 5 hours for a big bowl of snow.

I recommend making test batch first, to make sure you’re happy with consistency.

You can add more soda or conditioner if required.

And you can build a snowman with that one! It’s perfect for moulding 🙂
Recipe no 2:

This one requires patience.

Ingredients:

– one and a half cup of baking soda

– half/ one cup of water

– fork

Directions:

Throw baking soda into a bowl. Pour water (few drops at a time, one tablespoon at once max!) and mix it all well with a fork, till little white balls form. You can use a fork to separate ‘snowballs’ and make them smaller.
Recipe no 3:

It’s not a recipe per se, but an awesome and simple idea. Especially if you have kids or if you want to use your snow as part of Christmas tablescape.

Use coarse salt as snow! You can use it for crafts and it’s safe to use it as decoration for your Christmas table. The bigger salt crystals, the better! And they will actually look like snow crystals!
Suggested materials:
