How to Make a Bow. Step-by-step for Christmas Decorating and Wreaths.

How to make a decorator's bow... perfect for holiday wreaths, tree-toppers, or on a special gift!... ALL you need is a spool of ribbon and some string or wire! Here's how! http://victoriaelizabethbarnes.com/step-by-step-guide-to-making-any-size-holiday-bow-diy-ribbon-christmas-decorations/
You can use any width ribbon you prefer, but make sure it's wired on the edges. That is what gives you a nice fullness, and the ability to arrange the loops.
Step one - begin by making your first loop the size you want the largest part of the bow to be.

Step two - make another, equal-sized loop. Twist the center together tightly.
Step three - keep going with the loops! Alternate sides, and don't worry about making it look perfect... once you get the structure, we can make it look pretty.
Step four - once you have all the loops you want, put the last one in the center. This covers up any mess you made!
Step five - wrap your loops with string or floral wire. You want to fasten the center tightly! Don't forget to leave enough string to fasten the bow to the wreath, gift, mantel, bannister... wherever you're putting it!

I’ve made the same bows for years, only I use chenille pipe cleaner stems. They come in many different colors, including tinsel-like metallics. I make them from the big wide ones like yours to package-size to teensy ones using 1/2 inch ribbon. 🙃
