Restore, Restyle & Relove - (made Easy With Chalk Paint(R))

Just like the tagline on my blog says...REstore, REstyle, RElove.
I love to shop thrift stores and garage sales to find things to makeover and redo--Restore and restyle them so they can be reloved. I LOVE to do that. I also love to take things from in and around my home and reinvent them as well! So much fun...and a super thrifty way to create new decor for your home. In this post I'll show you just how I did that with these cute little wall medallions and a bit of Chalk Paint.
Finished - Old decor made new with some Chalk Paint and nautical touches.
Start to finish...simple and inexpensive makeover.
Old thrift store frames, scrap pieces of beadboard (or anything really for the backing, such as fabric, paper, etc) and Sand Dollars, Sea Shells or Starfish make for an easy & inexpensive idea for home decor.
Before - well loved and used in my home for about 9 years. Changed my colors and decor so decided to paint these.
Painted them with Duck Egg Blue Chalk paint.
Made a "wash" with Old White Chalk Paint and brushed over the top, wiping away the high points. (they stayed this way for quite a few months before I added the nautical elements)

These came out looking beautiful! I love that you added that starfish detail.
