We have worked with Sheila at Plum Doodles a number of times and she always does an amazing job on her furniture makeovers. We are very pleased to have her use our brand of glass knobs on yet another project. Thanks Sheila!

The before is a beat up old farmhouse table.
Sanded and painted...
Sheila changes her mind about the drawer matching the top of the table and repaints the drawer to match the legs...I think she made the right choice.
The finished project!

@D Lawless Hardware I have a similar table that was made by someone in my Grandfathers family. Mine has turned legs, and one is quite a bit different than the rest. I've never known what it use was. Is there a definition for farmhouse table? It's too tall for a telephone table and too small for most anything else. Would you happen to know any more about this kind of table?

@Lelap Hey! I decided to drop something in the "reply" area so you'd know I responded. See below! Thanks for checking out our profile and business!

This is something I am far from an expert on. However, I'd say that there isn't much a of hard and fast definition of what qualifies. When I think farmhouse table, I think thick wood. Thick surface, thick legs, etc. But they vary so much. Here is a good image search for "farmhouse table": https://www.google.com/search?q=what+is+a+farmhouse+table&espv=210&es_sm=93&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=vi3QUvmbO8fSyAH88YGYBA&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAQ&biw=1365&bih=941&dpr=0.75#es_sm=93&espv=210&q=farmhouse+table&tbm=isch They all have about the same look. It's kinda just something where you know by looking at the individual piece if it "feels" like a farmhouse table. Sorry for the poor answer...

@D Lawless Hardware It's not a poor answer at all. I have a large kitchen table that people call a farmhouse table that meets the criteria . But this is the first time I've seen a small table called that. One of my kids is borrowing the table right now, or I would send a photo- it's quite interesting. Thank you for taking the time to reply.
