Succulent Wine Cork Magnets

Around Christmas I fall in love with wine cork crafts because they are some of the easiest and most fun DIY projects out there.
You can check out my little Christmas trees projects.
I love the versatility of craft ideas that wine corks have inspired. That's the reason I did this project too. Ever since a saw this idea a know a had to do it some day.
Wine cork crafts are the proof never to throw anything just yet, you never know where you can use it.
I'm sure you've seen this succulent wine cork magnets project somewhere before, so I'm just giving you my version.

You will need some wine corks.
Auger or some another drilling tools.
Drill the hole in wine cork.
Glue magnet.
Fill the hole with soil.
Plant succulents.

    My daughter says that succulents cannot be just planted like this and take root. I know jade plants can, are there other kinds that you don't have to go through the long process of rooting?

    Do they need to be watered at all? Do you just soak the corks occasionally?? I think I will try it though!

    What kind of magnet and where did you get them? I tried a magnetic strip but it didn’t work. Might be because it’s old or it’s too thin.
