DIY Pinecone Christmas Tree

The only thing I love more than a rustic 'lil Christmas tree is FREE decor!! I made this 'lil tree from pinecones I grabbed right off the ground! It's a little time consuming but super easy! And I think the payoff is just adorable!! This is one of 12 DIY trees over on the blog!!
The lovely white tips are natural!
Use wire cutter to trim your pinecone.
You'll need a lot of these!!
Hot glue to a plastic cemetary vase... or styrofoam cone covered in paper.
A great little tree for Fall or Winter!!

I dip pine cones in melted wax to use for fire starters.

Put some scented oil in your wax before you dip, we do this every year. Makes a nice basket full present for someone the has need of fire starters. That is how I got my first one.
