Dining Table Made From Tennessee Red Cedar and 2X6 Redwood Boards.

This dining table was made from Redwood & Tennessee red cedar. The table base and bench bases were made from dimensional 2x6 Redwood Lumber milled in Idaho. The bench tops are from a 1-inch thick solid Sequoia redwood slabs from California. I used dowel joints for everything except the top surface which is attached with pocket holes. As the video shows, I spent a lot of time cutting the 2x6 dimensional lumber down to size and then shaping them to the exact dimensions I would need. The Wood Whisperer has a good set of plans for this table with all of the dimensions (https://goo.gl/J2Hy67). All of the parts were then sanded to 220 grit, as well as given a round over on the router table.
Because I needed the boards wider than I could find, I glued the boards together for all of the legs. then I trimmed the excess down to size on the jointer and table saw.
I drilled holes for all of the dowels and dry fit the table together. This let me mark the spots for the half lap joints on the long stretchers. After I was sure everything would fit together I took it apart and used glue to attach all of the parts.
I used the same dowel assembly process on both benches and drilled holes to attach the table top and the slab bench tops.
Quite a lot of time was spent making the red cedar planks fit tightly together, gluing them up, then planing and sanding them smooth and flat. I cut to breadboard ends to cover the end grain and make the table about 10 inches longer.
Everything fit together nicely after the final glue up.
I finished all of the base parts with a few coats of wipe on polyurethane.
I finished the tops with a lot of brush on polyurethane. It gave it a very shiny clear coat look!
I am absolutely thrilled with the results of this build! It took a long time working evenings and weekends but the final product looks spectacular!

This is a beautiful table. But my question is about the dishes. Looks very much like my Frankhoma pottery which I am trying to find replacement pieces for ones broken in Katrina. Is this Frankhoma and if so where did u find?
Would want to cover benches for sitting comfort. Do you think fabric that resembled the wood look would work?
