Rustic Valentine's Day Wreath

It seems most of the wreaths I see online for Valentine's Day are mesh, and that just didn't fit in with my decor, so I decided to come up with something a little bit different.
I started with a grapevine wreath, and bought a couple of stuffed hearts from Hobby Lobby. I had some burlap and other ribbons on hand, so I didn't need to purchase those.
I started by attaching the hearts to the wreath in the two specific spots I wanted to begin with. I added a burlap ribbon above the top one, just attached in a couple of places with the two ends hanging loose.

I then fashioned some rustic bows to attach above the hearts, and burlap ribbon. The bottom bow I made with burlap and canvas ribbon. I left some long tails, and curled them around. I even left a few strands of jute twine hanging down.
I hung it from a pipe cleaner attached to the back.
I think it looks lovely attached to my layered mantle backdrop.

As I had quite a few things on hand, I didn't spend much for this project, about 12 dollars.

Don't be afraid to try something different.

Happy Valentine's Day!
