Cozy Cabin in the Woods Retreat (and Fallingwater)

This past Thanksgiving weekend I was lucky enough to be able to sneak away for a couple of days to spend time with two of my closest friends from college. Since we are living all around the country, we picked a place that was accessible to all of us but was also fun, different….and close to Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater home. So for three blissful (although sometimes unexpected and eventful) days we called this little cabin in the woods our home.

The open dining and living room with stairs up to the loft.
The amazing stone fireplace and mantel.
This cabin had so many nooks and crannies. This was a window seat in the loft.
This one bathroom was enough for this little cabin. It was updated yet charming.
The entry way boasted a beautiful stone wall.
Bedroom number one.
A look into the living/dining area. That fireplace is really the focal point!
The open room made the kitchen and dining area seem spacious.
I loved the lofted ceilings here.
Another charming window seat located in the living room.
A bookcase was artfully tucked under the staircase.
The loft bedroom.
A view from the loft.
Another view from the loft.
Check out the exterior of this adorable cabin!
We also got to sneak out of the cabin and visit Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater. Amazing!

@Megan Aubrey What is airbnb, all I saw when I clicked on the name was someone moving tiny modular homes and a recovered old chair.?

So cool. I was glad to see these pictures. I have a log cabin and I am redoing the bathroom. The entry picture with the stone wall has the tile floor that I am putting in my bathroom along with the same color green wall in the photo. Its nice to know that my bathroom is going to look great.
