This DIY project is perfect for spring if you use pastel hues, but it could be easily remade for any season or occasion if you use different colors: orange black and purple for halloween, red white and green for christmas, all white for a minimal look, the possibilities are endless!
Start by choosing the color pallette you want to work with. Keep in mind the final arrangement you desire so you know how many butterflies you need to paint in each color.
Paint the little bows, make sure to cover every nook and cranny.
Once the little bows are dry you can add some details if you want to. I painted some polka dots with a paint marker, let your imagination run free!
When you're done and the bows are completely dry you can add a dot of hot glue to the back
and then press the twine into it: this way you will avoid burning yourself
And voilà! Your garland of pretty little bows is ready :D

Don't forget you can find this and other projects on my YouTube channel "The DIY Forest", if you make any of them send me a photo on any social media, I would love to see.

I see that you put the bows on a string...then what? What does the finished project look like? I think the bows are cute, but how are they used?

Love it! I think it would be even better if you glued a second bow to the other side of the first with the string in between. Then if it turns, which it will, bows are on both sides!
