The Two Little Bedside Tables That Could

I picked up these two little bedside tables a year ago at a garage sale, $5 each. They had been painted several times and the last coat was a shiny cream colour, all battered. I am obsessed with white and with scandinavian decor, so I envision pretty much everything I take home in some variation of white; knew these two puppies had to be repainted white. I am also fascinated by the new trend of painting the inside of the drawers a fun colour, so I did that too, it took a little while to figure out how to do it, but it came out ok.
Here are some before and after pictures. I ordered on ebay two round bubble transparent drawer pulls and I am still waiting, other than that the two tables are finished!
I will post the finished pictures when the drawer pulls arrive. Thank you for reading, this was only my second repainting project! I had been afraid of painting in the past, but now I feel I can tackle ven larger projects!

They were so cute!
Top of one of the two tables.
This is how the tables came home. Pretty battered and dirty.
My first time redoing anything -- it felt like a daunting project!
The drawers were easier to sand than the actual tables.
LOTS of sanding. I used an orbital sander, 60 or 80 grit. The tables had a lot of paint.
So I figured I'd have to sand all that old paint. I managed to send most of it.
