Can i use this idea to completely cover my dropped ceiling in kitchen? That would include covering the metal the old tile fits into & edges the drop ceiling to wall...

I am getting ready to do this to cover old water stains that are not responsive to kikz. Wondering if they could be painted first then glued up. My shoulders will not tolerate painting overhead.

It looks beautiful! Note to Canadians-at one point, using Styrofoam to insulate or decorate with was illegal because of a high risk of fire. Please check with fire dept. and your insurance before using it.

  I think ceiling tiles are specially treated to be fire retardant.
