I was thinking about taking that basic principle but making a bird cage out of it. I need 12 for a Senior Center I volunteer at. So I need ideas that are neat doable for me in a reasonable amount of time and doesn't cost a lot. I figured if I use only 4 wire around n put a little hoop on top and make it more round w flowers n a bird to decorate. I'm saying only 4 wire cause.I have to make so many. Any thoughts or feedback

That sounds like a great idea, Donna - especially for seniors! My only suggestion would be If you're just using four wires, make sure you use the lowest gauge and strongest stem wire you can find that's bendable, too! Most of the craft stores don't carry 16 or lower gauge stem wires. I had to order mine. And I know what you mean about finding doable and inexpensive projects to make! I have a craft session in my active adult community clubhouse each month and I'm limited in time (2hrs) and it's often difficult to find descent inexpensive projects to make within that time frame! Good luck!

You could make this orange, bend the wires to make more of a pumpkin shape, add fall flowers!
