Thrift Store Wall Calendar Turned Into Rustic French Message Board

I transformed this Thrift Store wall calender into a rustic French Message Board by using Iron Orchid Designs Mould & air dry clay. Painted it in Heirloom Traditions Paint, Black Bean, Irish Creme & Repose. Clear wax & Ancient aging dust was also used.
Before
Sanded the frame to bare wood so the Iron Orchid Clay Applique & Titebond III wood glue will adhere properly.
Dust mould with Corn Starch.
Take off excess Clay with paint stick
Roll the mould so the Applique removes with ease.
Glued & ready to paint.
Heirloom Traditions Chalk Style Paint in Irish Creme and then Repose. Wet distressed with damp rag to pull back the layers of paint. Clear wax & Heirloom Traditions Ancient Aging Dust in the details.
