How to Make a Craft-Themed Easter Basket

I love buying art supplies for my daughter. We’re a family of artists, and it helps for her to have some of her own supplies to experiment with: sketchbooks to fill up with drawings, watercolor crayons to smear all over the easel paper, and bright markers to create bold drawings. So it felt fitting to create a craft themed Easter basket that’s full of creative goodness! I kind of wish I had made one for myself, but hopefully she’ll share.
Step One:
Gather a few supplies that will function as the theme. These will often be bigger items and will sit in the back of the basket.
A few ideas are sketchbooks, coloring books, etc. You could add in a little learning activity in the basket for your child as well.
Step Two: Add in extras!
What smaller items will go with the bigger supplies you bought (or found)? Pens for the sketchbooks, watercolors for the coloring books . . . this is my favorite part. Have fun!

- Iron-on transfer kits
Step Three: Put everything in the basket.
I found a bright pink bucket that will function as the “basket” part. We’ll use it to hold our art supplies afterwards. I like finding containers that are multi-purpose.
I seriously can’t wait to give this to her for Easter. We will definitely be making a lot of projects Easter afternoon which will be so much fun. :)
