Repurposed {In Sight} Organizing Solutions

Getting organized and staying organized can be challenging when you don't have a lot of space. I have an average size home but an above average family size of 6! I've had to get creative with "In Sight" storage since the closets have to store the clothes! A lack of viable storage doesn't mean you can't be successful at organizing! I spent a little time getting things in order this week and thought I'd share some of my favorite organizing solutions with you! You can see more by clicking over to my blog! Enjoy!
Sewing Drawers are perfectly sized for containing items inside larger drawers, under cabinets, and are really pretty to look at in the open too! The are great for books and if you add a few hooks to the back, they can easily be hung!
The sewing machine drawers are perfect for tight spots under the sink!
Candy dishes aren't just for candy! These keep my cotton balls and q-tips handy!
I keep throws stored in an old metal basket. Easy access and it's pretty!
I've tried labeling and sorting my kids rooms...epic fail! Why? Because I make them clean their own rooms and they never follow the order! It all just gets thrown in bins. So, I keep some cool ones around!
When walls and flat surfaces are maxed out, a hanging solution like this old lamp skeleton saves the day! Mine holds earrings, hair accessories and more. I hung it with a strip of torn muslin from a simple cup hook in the ceiling.

thanks for the ideas. I have a mirrored wall jewelry armoir that I love. To expand storage, I hot glued cork to the back. Separately, love the rug in photo with wire basket with throws, where is it from?
    • @Cheryl You're welcome! Thank you for sharing your wonderful idea! I love it! The bamboo rug is one I ordered online. The one on top came from Tuesday morning. That lovely wire basket is an antique I picked up at an awesome estate sale last year :)
