This craft is so easy, and perfect for the start of summer or any coastal theme!
Simply start with a styrofoam wreath form (14"), duct tape (I used white and trimmed with red, but you could also use blue for trim), and some jute rope.
Simply wrap the foam wreath first with the white duct tape. Next, trim the wreath in 4 sections (I didn't even measure). For the trim, I wrapped the tape 4 times, overlapping just a bit more each time until the desired width. Lastly, cut the rope trim long enough that it will be somewhat loose on the outer edge. Secure to the preserver with another piece of duct tape, cut into strips.
Before and After - life preserver craft.
Here's the finished preserver, used in a themed tablescape. Easy!
