How To Create A Waterfall Using A Hot Glue Gun....

I recently ran across a picture of a fairy garden waterfall that was made by using a hot glue gun. Since I love creating fairy gardens of my own, I wanted to add a waterfall to mine.
Lay a piece of glass or a piece of parchment paper down on your work surface. (I used the glass that came in a picture frame). The first thing I did was to form an outline with the hot glue gun directly on the piece of glass where the hot glue will go. I filled in the area with hot glue until it was completely covered.
After the glue had cooled, I used an old spatula to gently lift the glue off the piece of glass.
Place the circle of cooled hot glue back onto the work surface and start gluing rocks around the perimeter.
At one end, start layering rocks for the waterfall.
Cut a narrow strip off of a sandwich bag.
Attach the narrow strip of sandwich bag to the top of the rock with a spot of hot glue.. Taking your hot glue gun, run a bead of hot glue up and down the piece of sandwich bag until it is completely covered in hot glue.
If using moss and flowers, cut the stems off and glue them in the cracks of the rocks.
I decided at the last minute to add a rock to the inside of the waterfall pond. I cut a tiny piece of sandwich bag and glued it to the rock and ran the hot glue over both the rock and outer rock to create a little puddle. When the hot glue was dry, I removed the waterfall from the piece of glass with the spatula.
I couldn't wait to see what it looked like in the fairy garden.
I found the perfect spot for the waterfall in the fairy garden.
