HVAC Status Checklists for New Homeowners

by Bardi Heating and Air
Did you just buy a home? You may be curious about the status of your HVAC systems. In fact, HVAC is one of the top 5 most overlooked parts during a home inspection. Here's a checklist so that you can figure out on your own what type of condition your AC and furnace systems are in!
--Is your airflow poor/weak?
--Does your thermostat trigger the furnace/AC when you turn it on?
--Does your furnace blow cold air?
--Does your AC blow warm/hot air?
--Is the blower wheel covered in debris?
If you answered "yes" to any of these, it could mean a variety of issues:
--Poor ignitor
--Dirty or corroded flame sensor
--Poor circuit motor
--Improper sized ducts
--Poor induced draft motor...
Or more. One of the things you can try doing on your own is checking the air filters to see if they're clean. If they are, scheduling an inspection could be a good idea: Learn more here: http://bardi.com/blog/new-homeowners-can-determine-status-hvac-systems/
