This is such a simple project and can be completed in just a couple of hours. You will need a piece of wood, star stickers, book pages or any white paper, red and blue paint.
Paint your piece of wood red. I used spray paint. Tape off the corner where the stars will go. Paint the square white. I forgot to do this first, but later painted in the stars with a white Sharpie paint pen.
Place stickers on the square. I was able to fit 50 stars, but it depends on how big your wood is and how big the stars are.
After painting the square blue, I let it dry and peeled off the stickers. Then I was able to paint in the stars with the white Sharpie.
I used old book pages to make my stripes, ripping along the edges. You can use regular paper or even scrapbook paper. I glued them on with Tacky Glue.
That's it! Now you have an American Flag to decorate with! For more information, check the blog at Home On The Corner.

This cool and very creative. The book pages give that bit of character. Also like the rough edges of the pages. Looks like the flag is waving in the wind. Great share.
