Use tissue paper on tile to personalize this coaster!
Grab some tiles from Home Depot  and paint the top and sides white.
While the paint is drying, print out the image you would like to add to the tile. I chose some palm fronds. Be sure to tape down some regular tissue paper onto the computer paper so the image is printed on the actual tissue paper.
Cut out the image as close to the image as possible and add some modpodge where the image is going to go and press it down and out to remove any air bubbles or excess modpodge then add modpodge on top to seal it.
You can choose to paste down the flap or cut away the excess. Be sure to apply modpodge to the edge if you choose to cut away the flap like I’m doing here.
Grab some leafing adhesive and apply it to where you would like the gold leaf design.
Remove the excess with a clean foam brush. Once you’re done, flip over the tile and add some felt pads at the bottom.

Add some acrylic to seal and enjoy!

I just love these coasters. I would not have thought of the tissue paper printing. Thanks for the idea.
