Wanted to share a take on a Dollar Store Fourth of July wreath that you can make for so, so, s o cheap.
Gather your materials: some sort of wreath base, ribbon (yes I got that from my local Dollar Store) and scissors.
Cut your ribbon and then fold it in half.
Loop it around the wreath base and pull the two strands through.
Repeat that switching between your ribbon until the wreath base is full.
Add whatever accessory you'd like! I put a little USA banner together.

I love this idea, but how do you keep the top half from yielding to gravity? The wreath form would help some, I'm sure, but yours doesn't appear "droopy" at all.

I have the same question. We have a lot of humidity here in central Georgia. It is hard to keep things from falling down or apart.

Not same wreath base used as shown in first picture as used in others...looks as if embroidery hoops used for wreath instead of metal multi rings!

It's actually a random circle I found in my garage from some other project! You don't NEED to use a wreath base if you don't want to spend money on it. You can even bend a wire hanger! Possibilities are endless (and most the time cheaper!) when we think outside the box a little.

It will be Her Majesty's 70th jubilee in 2022. Thanks for the idea, with wired ribbon to hold the shape and careful positioning of colours this will make a great union flag for my front door especially with roses in the centre. From Great Britain, I thank you.
