Wisteria makes a great shade setting on the swing under it The purple flowers are Wisteria they smell great but you need to train them cutting them back but wait after they bloom so you can enjoy them

    I have several trees that are in the family of wisteria same kind of problem that they are invasive but very beautiful. I have wondered when and how to trim them back. I trimmed them once and figured I did it wrong cuz the next year I had zero flowers. Haven't done it since !

    My Wisteria has never bloomed since I planted it several years ago. It is nice and green though and does grow rapidly
