Happy New Year! (Chinese New Year, The Year of the Horse, of Course)
At the stroke of midnight leading into today, January 31, 2014, a 15-day celebration of the Chinese New Year will begin with the first new moon of this calendar year.
It is fitting then, that my guest in residence (in my succulent garden), Mr. Moon-In-The-Man (pictured here), and who is someone you might recognize as I introduced him this past fall here on HT and subsequently featured him in a number of entries since (including one related to the Chinese New Year*), should continue to accompany Monsieur Purple, a horse, who is the rep for the occasion, for this is The Year of the Horse.**
