Mason Jars With A Blue Patina

Distress mason jars to look as though they're weathered and have a beautiful blue patina. Wouldn't a metal mason jar be a fabulous thing? Creating this look is so easy - all you need is reactive paint!
This copper and blue look will stand out in any decor.
Start with a few mason jars (I robbed my stash).
Head to the blog link here to see how I primed and painted the mason jars with copper reactive paint.
Spray with Patina Activator solution. It's THAT easy.
Give it time to process and dry.
The patina dries into a beautiful greeny-blue verdigris. Perfect for a patio, as a vase.. or just as decor for the mantel!
