Stunning Moroccan Style Upcycled Pallet Planter

I live in a traditional Victorian style town house. Which is lovely but has a very small walled back garden.
I'm always looking for cheap and affordable ways to add some color and cheer to my outdoor space.
This time I used a pallet and some pots I already had to create a bright colorful pallet flower wall for the back garden.
The first thing I did was paint a wood pallet.
I painted the pallet white to start with.
Then to add some color and interest I painted on top of the white paint in 2 different shades of blue. I used a stencil to create a Moroccan tile effect on the pallet. I used this 12by12 stencil here.
I alternated the 2 blue colors to create a checkerboard effect.
I carried on painting with the stencil until the whole pallet was covered.
I then painted up 5 terracotta pots I already had in the same 2 blue colors.
I used Jubilee/hose clips to attach the pots to the pallet. I drilled a hole in each clip and then screwed them into the painted pallet.
I positioned the clip in a 5 dice shape on the pallet.
Then it was just a simple case of placing each pot of flowers into the Jubilee/hose clip. The clips not only hold the planters really well but they are so easy to remove and change around.
I am so pleased with how the upcycled wall planter turned out. It has become a focal point in my little-walled garden. The Morrocan tiled stencil certainly makes it look more exotic and interesting.

Love the hose clip/clamp idea & found it sold in long lengths to be able to cut & use on various diameter pots at a much lower cost than the ready-made pot hangers! Been gathering my pallets, pots & paint for my herbs, etc.
