I make these for customers and as gifts
I start off by cutting down my pallet boards to the sizes i need
Then i gorillaTh glue the boards together for the lid at 10x23
Then i place the bowls upside down on the lid trace the outline of the bowl and drill a 5/8 hole so i can get my jig saw blade in it
5/8 hole in the center
Here is the cutouts of the bowls i stay about a 1/4 inch in and i do not cut rite on the out line mark

Then i cut out the outlines but i do not cut rite on the lines i stay in by 1/4 in of the circle with a jig saw
perfect outlines for the dog bowls to fit
Then i nail all of my cuts to the frame
Nail the front and back first and then the sides
then i stained it and when it dried i added the plastic liner for the food and added the bowls
Then i added 2 little chains that will hold the Bone that can be personalized to my pets name and hangs in front of the feeder
Here you have a Raised dog feeder and water tray with dog food storage

I love the raised feeder. I am thinking of making but thinking to build it around a plastic tote to keep dog food mouse safe. I also have to space the bowls farther apart or add vertical a partition, sisters fuss at each other while eating. Your simple design lends itself to many variation, thank you!

All you need to do is build around the tote and use the tote as your measure and i am sure it will turn out beautiful
