DIY Acrylic Desk Tray

Creating a project for the Hometalk - Michaels Pinterest Project was quick, easy, + a fun way to add some diy design into my new office space. My inspiration was an embellished picture frame. However, my picture frame went in a whole different direction! Follow the link to see the full tutorial at http://bit.ly/1bvUtF4 .
A simple acrylic picture frame becomes a stylish diy desk tray for my new office space.
Purchase a clear acrylic picture frame from your local Michaels Store (or any craft store) and apply painter's tape in a pleasing pattern.
Spray paint in your color of choice. ( I used Design Master in gold for my project.)
Once paint + sealer have dried, remove painter's tape to reveal the finished pattern.
Add clear protective pads to the bottom of your tray.
Then add small votive holders to corral all the little bits + pieces. Simple + stylish!
