Parsley Infused Hot Oil Treatment

I grow a small herb garden each year. I always get more than I'll use for cooking, so I use some of my herbs in my bath and body recipes. Parsley is a common cooking herb, but it's also a wonderful herb for your hair and skin. If you have dry, dull, or damaged hair, this hot oil treatment can help.
This project is fairly simple, but it takes two weeks to make because you need to infuse the herb in the oil. I chose to use parsley because it protects hair color and nourishes hair. The flax oil will help damaged hair.
Place the herbs in a mason jar and cover it with oil. This isn't an exact recipe; just make sure the oil covers the herbs. Let sit in a dark place for two weeks.
After two weeks, use cheesecloth to strain out the herbs. The oil will now have some of the properties of the parsley without the mess of having dried parsley in your oil.
You can use the infused oil as a hot oil treatment by warming it and applying it to dry hair. Let sit for 30 minutes before rinsing and washing.

You can also use the oil in other bath and body recipes.
