Image Transfer Using Laser Printer

Suzanne Fulford prints a favorite image and applies it to this beautiful piece of furniture.
The first step is to apply 2 coats of Dixie Belle Paint.
After the piece is completely painted you can prepare for the image transfer. The color used here is called Haint Blue.
After the paint is dry you begin by adding a thin layer of clear coat to the paper and to the piece of furniture. Apply the paper and allow to dry.
Here you can see that Suzanne is securing the image with Dixie Belle Clear Coat.
This is what it looks like with the top left image in place.
Now 3 images have been secured to the doors of this piece of furniture.
After it has dried for a while it is time to removed the paper from the image.
To remove the paper you will want to spray water and saturate the paper.
Then you will want to gently rub off the paper leaving the ink image on the piece of furniture. To see the final look tune into Hometalk at 1 pm today!

That's a pretty shade of blue. I would prefer to have the image cover the entire panel in the door. Where do you get oversized images printed? Thanks...

It looks like something was applied. What would have been better is to cut the paper the same diameter so the doors would frame out the applied paper decor.
