Hi guys! Hubby and I love the modern industrial look. After our bathroom remodel, we didn't want to store the toilet paper in a drawer or under the sink . The drawers are prime real estate for other essentials and under the sink is to far to reach in an emergency! We came up with this easy peasy holder that fits perfect over the lip of the tank and under the lid of the toilet.
We started with a 4ft piece of flat aluminum 1/16 ×3/4 inch. We used a grinder to cut it in half. Taking one 2ft piece we used a vise to bend the aluminum.
We shaped the aluminum to roughly resemble an "s" shape.
Each bend is approximately 1/4 of an inch. And the final bend is the stem for holding the rolls of toilet paper. The aluminum is flexible enough to bend without using a vice. A pair of pliers or strong hands can easily bend it. We like the industrial look of the holder but you could easily paint the aluminum if you wanted. You could also use a longer piece of aluminum and bend it to go down towards the floor to hold more toilet paper.
Suggested materials:
  • Flat aluminum 1/16 ×3/4 in.   (Ace hardware)

I’m guessing, you don’t have 9 cats. 😹 My little mischievous ones, would have that toilet paper, outside wrapping it around the squirrels.
