The supplies that you need to make your own mason jar pumpkins include:
20+ Mason Jar Lids without centers per pumpkin
Spray paint - if you want to color your pumpkins
Book pages
Scissors
Stick and Spanish moss to embellish
If you want to spray paint your lids - now is the time to do that. Be sure to paint in a well-ventilated area.
I wanted to add a literary twist to my pumpkins so I decided to use book pages. I found a book at the Dollar Store that I didn't feel bad about chopping up :-)

Determine the width of your mason jar lid and cut your strips accordingly.

If you want your pages to not be very readable then I recommend cutting across the page. If you don't mind, then cut along the rows.

Attach the trimmed pages to the rims with glue or double-stick tape. If using glue, allow the rims to dry.

Once they are dry, thread a piece of yarn through the center of the rings and tie in a knot to make a circle.
Add a stick or dried pumpkin stem and a bit of Spanish moss to finish the pumpkins!

It adds a sweet literary charm to your Fall decor!
