I made this ghost pumpkin centerpiece by making tea light holders from white Casperita pumpkins along with acorns and fall greenery. It could be used as a halloween entryway decoration or as a Thanksgiving centerpiece.

Here's the basic instructions for the ghost pumpkin centerpiece. Full instructions are posted on my blog (link below).
Collect your supplies. You can either grow your own white mini pumpkins or purchase them at a craft or grocery store.
BEFORE: Plain mini pumpkins. Wash the mini pumpkins by wiping them with a damp cloth. Let them dry before moving onto the next step.
Trim the stem of the pumpkin off. Use a hole saw drill bit to remove a plug from the top of the mini pumpkins. Follow the instructions for the drill and ensure the pumpkin is secured during the drilling process (especially as the outer ring of the bit contacts the skin).
Use a spoon to gently remove the top plug of pumpkin.
Scoop out seeds. If using the centerpiece in the next few days, you may only have to remove a few seeds (just so the tea light fits down into the pumpkin).
Place a tea light in the hole! Repeat this process for other pumpkin tea lights.
Place the mini ghost pumpkin tea lights in the bowl. Then put the antlers (or sticks) around the pumpkins. Fill in the spaces with acorns (or pinecones) and fall greenery. You could also lay a base of foraged moss in the bowl if the bowl is plain.
AFTER: Ta-da! You've got a mini pumpkin centerpiece that's a perfect addition to your fall decor!
