Making a Terrarium- A Snow Day Project

by Deltagardener
This is my first terrarium project. I hope you like it. I have many more to do. The glass containers & fairies are thrift shop finds. Check my link below to see how I made this.
Update- This could get addicting. I made four more terrariums.
My completed terrarium planter.
A few supplies I needed to get started.
Love the kitchen fairies I thrifted. Used tiny houseplants for the project.
Use mini tools when creating tiny gardens.
Stones went in the bottom to aid in drainage if needed.
Moss was added for colour above the layer of stone, then soil went in.
Find out why I used a shot glass. No, I wasn't drinking.
Used succulents in this one.
I like the simplicity of this one.
Sleeping angel terrarium
Once this plant grows the pink margins will compliment the pink fairy dress.

I've seen pics of these but seeing how you made them really inspired me to do the same. I always get money from my parents for Christmas and now I know what I'm going to buy myself. Thanks for sharing!

Was looking for a fun, non-painting, idea to do with my granddaughters & this is perfect. I love your designs, will hit the Salvation Army with them, this should be a hit! Thank you

@Christine Great idea, perfect size for children and they may take ownership of the garden.
