looking for plant that can take a lot of heat.....im in zone 9...need it to surround my meter box and in the planter on top

since my post i have planted lilly bulbs around the meter...planted maragolds...put a larger blue pot on top. wil put in silk flowers until i get the right plant...put edgers around it and will continue planting more plants to complete my butterfily garden...pentas etc...cant wait. Thanks again....
