Coat Closet Made Into a Simple Walkin Pantry

This was a simple closet near the kitchen, that my husband, made into a needed pantry for me. Now, keep in mind, he is not a carpenter what so ever. Here are the photos of the process. It was done in less than one day. Including painting it first. Don't know where I would of put everything without this pantry. I am proud of his effort in doing this. First time for many additional changes for our new home.
A simply closet. (Before)
Got the walls all patched, and ready for paint.
Went with a very light blue, and chose the white shelving. Love that I can adjust the shelve to the height I need. Each side was made in differant depth. The sides were 4 inches, 6 inches, and the back wall 12 inches.
Back shelfing view. Hard to even see the color of paint. Looking great so far.
Finished Pantry. (Has been organized since photo was taken.)

This is fantastic! What a great idea to use the closet next to the kitchen. Hey, it makes sense. ;)

Wonderful idea! We have something similar in the guest room. We didn't leave space for our guests to hang up their clothes, though.
