Galvanized Garden ~ Repurposed Container Planting

When our waste management company provided large, rolling plastic containers, we were left with an assortment of galvanized trash cans. Then we moved and inherited more cans and wash tubs! What to do with too many galvanized containers? Why, make a galvanized garden, of course!

Nasturtiums, marigolds and tomatoes in the galvanized garden.
Reuse old trashcans, buckets & tubs ~ make them into a kitchen garden!
Wooden spoon plant markers are easy to make and look great in my galvanized garden.
The galvanized garden held a lot of herbs & veggies!

    Is it really safe to grow edible plants in galvanized containers? I thought the galvanization would be poisoning.
