Lowboy Dresser Makeover

This pretty little lowboy dresser was in sorry shape with all its broken and loose veneer. There was no way to salvage the drawers so I opted to refinish the top and paint the rest. She's sitting pretty now! Check out all the details here: http://createinspireme.blogspot.com/2014/03/serpentine-low-boy-w-mirror.html
Before-Hard to see but there's huge chunks of veneer missing off of both top drawers and it was cracked and coming off. I simply removed it and sanded smooth.
The top was a pretty piece of birds eye maple. I carefully sanded it all down and stained it darker than the original to really pop the grain.
I lined the drawers and ...
...replaced the wooden knobs with these pretty, vintage knobs.
This color is Sweetie Jane from Sweet Pickins milk paint. Such a pretty color!
And, here she is AFTER!
