Using a thrift store jar, cranberries and a handful of flowers we are ready for the holidays!! A perfect way to dress up a holiday table, a buffet or even a kitchen counter!! The red and white is so very merry and bright!
For this project you’ll need a clear glass jar, fresh cranberries, cool water and white flowers.
Sift through the fresh cranberries, removing any overripe or dark berries. Fresh berries will float in water.
Place the cranberries in the glass jar. Mason jars are a great choice for this project. Creating a grouping of different sized jars with flowers is another great option.
Fill the jar at least 1/2 way with cranberries.
Add cool clean water.
The cranberries are floating and will hold the flower stems perfectly!!

Add flowers. Using white roses, mums, carnations or daisies is a great contrast to the red cranberries. Consider adding a sprigs of holly or pine for an even more festive and wintry look.
We are almost finished. Adding a holiday ribbon is always an option. We skipped the ribbon... but it is always an option.
So pretty!! Be sure to refresh the water every two days or when it becomes cloudy.
