Vintage light reflectors are one of my favorite things to repurpose at Christmas time. They remind me of my childhood, and I can still remember all the different colors sparking on the Christmas tree. It was so pretty!

There are so many different kinds of vintage light reflectors... metal, foil, plastic with tinsel. I often find them at thrift stores and garage sales and I can never resist bringing them home.

They're perfect for repurposing projects like this one. They'll still be on the Christmas tree, but in a different way.

Just like these Jello Mold Ornaments that I made a few years ago.

The first thing to do is to drill two holes into each tart tin for hanging.

Then I ran jute twine through the holes. Jute twine is one of the favourite things and I love its rustic look with sparkly ornaments.

But you can use whatever thread or twine or ribbon that will match the style of your Christmas tree.

Personally I think jute twine goes with everything.

Then I simply used my glue gun and glued in some of the foil and plastic/tinsel light reflectors.

For the finishing touch I added some vintage small glass ball ornaments for the centers.

These tart tin ornaments are easy to make, and very inexpensive if you find everything at thrift stores like I did.
