This project is the perfect DIY for a quick and easy gift or as for decor for your own home. It only requires a few easy to find materials. Easily personalized for that extra special touch.

Start by painting the letter of your choice, the color of your choice.

Then paint a square board the color of your choice and allow to dry completely.

For an optional antique look on your board quickly brush on any stain from the "brown" color family and then quickly wipe it back off with a clean dry rag before it begins to dry.

Cut a square of burlap about 1-2 inches smaller on all sides than your board. Then pull at the edges a little to fray.

Brush wood glue onto your board the approximate size of your burlap.

Stick your burlap don onto the board.

Place wood glue onto the back of the wooden letter and then mount it on top of the burlap. Allow to lay flat until dry.

Nail one metal upholstery tack into each corner of the burlap and then your all finished with a unique, personalized gift perfect for any lover of farmhouse decor.
