My Daughter's First Fairy Garden

She's 2 and a half and since we started preparing the lawn and beds for Spring, she's gotten interested in working in the yard with us so we decided to give her a bed of her own and a fairy garden to enjoy. It's the first time we try our hand at a fairy garden and my wife decided to make it easy and just order a starter kit online (arbor, bench, birdbath, watering can, 'welcome' sign, picket fence and fairy) to minimize the impact to our planting and prep work since this winter has been particularly rough on the yard and gardens because it's been highly unusual (even the mosquitoes are confused). If she really takes to it (and the plants survive), I'll fashion some miniatures out of twigs for her next fairy garden

I did this with my granddaughter this year also. Yours looks way better than ours at this point lol My princess likes to dig in it for hours, playing with her fairies lol Doesn't resemble a fairy garden anymore, but she loves it lol Nice job mom and dad!
