Learn how to make a corsage made from chenille stems (pop cleaners to us older folks). This is a cute way to give the Ladies of your church a little something for Valentine's Day!

Start with 6 red stems or whatever color you prefer. 1 or 2 green stems and one glitter stem in your preferred color. A flat pin to attach it to your recipient.

Take the 6 stems and twist them together in the middle.

Pull them up and start rolling each stem from the end toward the middle. You will have 12 stems to roll.

Okay you have all the stems rolled to the center.

Take one or two green stems and twist them in the middle and roll up just like the rose. Attach them to the bottom of the rose by twisting them around the rose from the bottom.

Now take the red glitter stem and put it through the bottom of the green stem and through the back of the pin to attach it to your corsage.

Take the ends of this stem and pull them through the back of the pin and form a heart with the stem.

Here you can see the stem going through the pin.

This is one of the corsages. This is a larger version of the heart.

The one on the left is a smaller version with less glitter stems of green and a smaller heart shape. The women at my church were thrilled with them.
