Red Checked Settee

One of my favorite things is my Charles Faudree inspired red checked settee. It was a craigslist find that was in really worn shape when I found it- but I knew instantly what look it would get in a makeover. It had the perfect size, shape and scale for a French Country Charles Faudree look with bold red checked fabric and a dark frame-for more info- www.frenchcountrycottage.net
The Before- Yikes. Covered in dirt and a lot of cat hair- it was good bargaining power for the price but oh what a ride home with it in the back of my SUV
Oversized red check fabric was a perfect choice.
