Cardboard Box Into an Industrial Crate

I transformed an ordinary cardboard box into an Industrial Rolling Crate.
I cut the top off of my box and then used hot glue to cover it with burlap.
I had over hang to trim and glue down and cover the sides. Then I used the top I had removed and covered it with burlap. It popped into the bottom of the box to make it more sturdy.
I found super cute wheels, which screwed right into the bottom of the box.
It still needed a little something, so I stenciled some numbers onto the front of the box.
Then I added jute rope as handles on each side and I was finished!
It is sitting on our entry table to hold keys, sunglasses, pocket change, and cell phones.

How sturdy is it? Super cute idea. I worry the kids would think it’s something to ride in. But maybe it’s sturdy enough.

I don't quite understand how screwing wheels that size can hold up to only cardboard. It would seem to not be sturdy enough with constant use.

Could this be used to slide under the bed for books etc? Why not?
