One of my favorite dollar store products are their lawn hooks. I think that they add so much life to a yard. When I saw these awesome large flower pots at the store, I had an idea. I love the way that this turned out, and this would be perfect for anyone that lives in an apartment, or doesn't have a yard.
I decided to paint my flower pot to look like an Easter egg.
Just a simple design.
I may spray paint this copper after Easter.
Next, I added some potting soil.
I got this bag for $1 at the dollar store.
Then, I added my yard hook.
I made sure to pack in the dirt, so that the hook stay stable.
After my planter was done, I filled it.
I can't wait to fill it with real flowers.
For now, it's too cold.
So. I chose some fake flowers and Easter eggs.
I think that I will eventually hang a sign from my planter, but for now, I hung a smaller pot.
Here it is!
So "Easter-y", so fun.
Here's a top view.
