We decided it was time to update the horse barn.. concrete the works here goes.
This is what it looked like dirt floor plywood stalls horrible,dark.. spiders everywhere yuck.
Gutting the inside to prep for concrete
Concrete so exciting. .. please remember this is not a cheap build or fast this was an 8 month project as we only worked on it during the weekends. And the concrete is the only thing we didn't so ourselves
Raised the loft, and boxed in round posts for better look. And ran electrical wire for all power and lights
Hubby installed a giant fan.. it is Texas and hot.
Building stalls
Adding the sliding stall doors and rotating feeders.
Shiloh and Lewis worked hard and need a nap...before stall mats go in..
Installing new rubber mats in all 4 stalls.. they are heavy almost killed us.
We even worked thru hurricane harvey to get horses back on the barn.
Stained all exterior of stalls..next the interior.. if my arms don't fall off.
Next grand entry doors with antique brass horse head handles..
Wash rack build and rubber mat down now the staining.. ugh. Then overhead water thingy..
Next is the cedar tack room
Ceiling and all walls in cedar.. with rubber mat floor..
I can only post 15 pics this is a big project so I will create page 2 of barn rebuild

I love the antique entry doors, did you use glass? I have been wanting something like this but am not sure what type of window to use. Can you tell me more about it please
