Up-cycle A Charging Station - Thrift Store Find!

I was at one of my local thrift stores and I ran across this old charging station that needed a little love. I had the perfect place for it as we have been needing a charging station for our condo in the mountains.

I got started by painting it with Dixie Belle Paint Gravel Road.
Once I let that dry completely I painted Dixie Belle Tacky Goo on to the top of the phone charger inside all of the indents.
I let that stand for about 5 minutes as per the instructions.  You want to make sure it gets good and tacky.
I cut some Dixie Belle Shine and placed it on the tacky goo shiny side up.  I used the Dixie Belle Brush that came with the kit to rub the shine onto the Tacky Goo and then peeled up the foil.
Here is what it looked like when it was done.
I dry brushed on some Dixie Belle Tobacco Road Voodoo Gel stain, and then used a paper towel to wipe it.
Here is the phone charger all finished.  I can't wait to bring it to our mountain condo!
