9 Drawer Mahogany Dresser

The Rustic Duchess
by The Rustic Duchess
This 9 drawer dresser and the original hardware were done in General Finishes Lamp Black. It was lightly distressed and sealed with the General Finishes High Performance Flat Top Coat.
A close up of the detail.
Here it is how we found it.

I have never used that paint before. I have done AS MMS and APC. If you have used any of these how does GF compare to them?

Hi @Savvy Chic Michelle I have used AS and APC. I have not used MMS but have used Sweet Pickins. The GF Milk Paint is actually a high performance Acrylic Paint. It is smoother than the above mentioned and has a Satin finish opposed to a Matte finish. It doesn't always have to be sealed, dependent on the end use (although I always would recommend sealing and do personally). It is also rated for indoor and outdoor use. Hope that helps!

It's beautiful. I am the first to admit I don't "love" the distressed look but this, lightly done distress is perfect and I wouldn't want it any other way. I love black furniture too.
